KIT has started a new R&D project in the field of electromobility and stationary batteries for the use of renewable energy. Within the scope of this project, we are looking for up to fifty
Engineers and Technicians (f/m)
in the following disciplines:
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Automation and Process Technology
- Mechatronics
- Software Engineering
You will be working in an international and interdisciplinary team in a future-oriented field with excellent professional advancement options in the European automotive and energy industry. Within different institutes, R&D at KIT covers the entire electric vehicle and storage system. Depending on your qualification, experience and interests, your tasks will be the processing of new battery materials or the development, construction and manufacturing of high-tech prototype electrochemical cells, batteries, battery management systems, inverters, motors or control units. You will be part of the ramp-up team for the pilot production of the systems.
We would like to recruit a team of experienced and young engineers and technicians. Therefore alumni as well as professionals with several years of experience are welcome to apply. We expect an academic degree or an advanced technical degree in the above mentioned disciplines and excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
We offer a challenging task with a high degree of autonomy, a variety of training options and the use of advanced technical equipment and methods.
